Matilda Character Description




LI to interact and comprehend a range of narrative texts.I learnt how to describe people. I learnt it by doing it in my activity where my friend and I had to describe a couple of characters from the story Matilda. My friend and I did the two cruelest characters that both hate kids more than they hate cats digging into their rubbish. We did Mr Wormwood and Mrs Trunchbull.

I learnt how to describe bad people in a character description.I learnt it by doing it in my character description. We had to describe two characters and tell you guys how cruel or how nice the person in the book. My friend Chris helped me with this activity. We described the two meanest and the cruelest people in Matilda. We described Mrs TrunchBull and Mr Wormwood.

LI: To Plan a Narrative

I learnt that when your hook starts off with a onomatopoeia your story will sound interesting and people would like to read your book.I learnt it because when we were practicing the sentences that started with the onomatopoeia it sounded way better than the other sentences we weren't aloud to use onomatopoeia they just sounded like a plain sentence.

Technology systems and and pieces.

LI: To Define a piece of technology & to define a technological system.

I learnt that there are more contrasts than compeers in a compare and contrast template.I learnt it by doing the pieces and system venn diagram for inquiry. We had to try and find many different compares and contrast and I was working with my partner Jonathan. My partner did Chromebook and I did tote tray and as we did them we had to think of the same things that happen to them.

LI: to learn how to measure liquid volume.

I learnt that liters are much more bigger than milliliters.I learnt that because when you convert milliliters into liters the milliliters go into decimals. If there are lower numbers like 255 milliliters the five at the end will move from the ones into thousandths.

LI: To Define a piece of technology & to define a technological system.{Julian} I learnt that there are more than two types of technology and they are pieces of technology and  technology system.

{Jonathan} i learn that piece of Technology like a chair and i also Technology system like popcorn.  

{Jonathan} by make the input and output and transforms and by my partner.  And we are the best team.

{Julian}I learnt it by helping my partner in inquiry to see where  technological system and what was a piece of technology was and how they work.

Research on Roald Dahl

LI to interact and comprehend a range of narrative texts.I learnt that lots of facts about Roald Dahl like he use to be a Hurricane fighter pilot in World War ll and Roald Dahl’s book had sold over 250 million books worldwide and he doesn't like kids but wouldn’t stop writing for them.I Learnt it by going on the internet and going on Wikipedia.

LI: To plan a narrative.I learnt how to plan a narrative and wright description of character and settings. I learnt it by describing the characters that is going to be in my narrative and because I had to make ten character and settings I had lot’s of chances to describe them and talk all about the thing they do and the things that are important.

Use Timestable to measure squares


LI: To identify the area of a rectangle and to measure it.I learnt that times tables are very useful to measure how much squares there are in the rectangles or squares.I learnt it by doing it in our maths activity when we had to see how many squares were in the rectangles and the rectangles are parks and the squares are how many mats are there in the area.We had to use the times tables to see how much there were.
