Today we have been learning about careers and we have also been answering questions on this site. When we answered the questions they came up with an analysis of which way we would want to go in the future for me they first came up with a brewer and they also came up with a winemaker they also gave me a bus driver I would not like to become a bus driver because they get the least amount of money that all they other ones have.

Kiwi Can

Today we went to kiwi can and during kiwi can we are learning about a new theme and it is called resilience it was the most best thing I have ever done in a very long time. We play two games that had to with our topic and the topic is goal setting and after we we had finished talking about it we played a game the game was called horses and jockeys. When Miss Lily said horses you would have to speed walk around the circle and as we are walking around the circle she would decide to say jockeys and we would have to go to our partner. Last but not least when she said banana we would have to change positions with our partner and continuous. After that game we played was when we had to try and get a hoolahoop on a cone but if it bounced off it doesn't count.

ASB Money learning

Today we had Jayden from ASB who came to talk to us how saving money is very important in our lives. To help us perceive the message that saving money is important Jayden created a game where we were splitted into 5 groups and pretend we went to Fiji. We had a budget of $1,800 and was to spend it wisely on before we went to Fiji like our passport, the flights, accommodation, Insurance and the money were going spend at Fiji for things such as food, groceries, and activities (like swimming with the sharks). There were a range of choices for some of the subjects such as flights had two prices. One price was $200 where you are in a seat that's uncomfortable or a flight for $700 where you have luxury seat and also food ordered to you. Our group (which was group 2) decided to take the cheaper options than the expensive which was a good idea. At the end we were happy because we came 2nd.

I have worked collaboratively with Julian and Chris, Alayah, and Farzanan who were from LS1. First we watched a video about what Matariki is and the how they celebrate it. We gathered all information we heard from the video and learnt a lot of information such as; Before Maori people had calender's they observed time using real life events such as following the plants, flowers or the movement of the stars in the sky. At the end we made an information poster writing down all facts we collected on our piece of paper.

M&M Research

Today I have been learning about M&M's. I worked collaboratively with Fui, Marieta, Aung Naing and Affonso to find out some facts about M&M's. I found out that a man called Forrest Mars created M&M's by seeing soldiers eating a sugar coating shell with chocolate inside. From now on today M&M's are a known to be favourites.  I also learnt that peanut M&M's were invented in 1954. Also they were named after Bruce Marrir and Forrest E Mars.
